I'm such a
noob when it comes to accessories. Yes, a
noob! I don't know how else to describe it. I have these beautiful things, but I never use them. I keep them stored in a big jewelry-box. Sometimes, I open it and take a look inside, but I'm a woman of habits, and I rarely change what I wear on my arms, around my neck or on my fingers. It's not hard to see what I like when it comes to jewelry. I adore silvery things, or white gold, steel and sometimes pearls. I thought I'd share some favorite things.

I have one with a lock on, of course - like any other treasure chest!

It has this dusty mirror inside, and a leathery wall on which I can hang my earrings. It's a wonderful display, I must say!

A secret compartment to hide little things that have a special place in my heart. Or those things I can't bare to loose - like the pendant I got from my best friend in the first grade. Or the bracelet I got when my mother baptized me.

There are three drawers that are meant to keep order. I don't really keep it all in order, though I should. I tend to live by the rules of organized chaos.

This giant key doesn't belong to me, but don't tell my lover, then she'll know it's gone.

Vintage pearls have always fascinated me. This one is the most special, a necklace, which is my very favorite. I had some Chinese fresh-water pearls, but I seem to have misplaced them.

This black bracelet was bought in Spain this Christmas. I love it. It was inexpensive, and fitted perfectly into my treasure chest. It really complimented all of the other beauties as well.

Other vintage things have their own drawer. Or rather, they are supposed to have a special place. That's easier said, than done.

Rings have always fascinated me.

Preferably those that are one of a kind. Or just appeals to me in some magic way.

The things that don't fit in the box are placed on my bathroom wall. A hook of randoms lovers, which I occasionally try on.

Chains! I like chains. It took me a long time to find the perfect necklace, but I did last summer, when I stumbled upon it at a marked.

Do you have a box like that? A secret one, or a not so secret one.
