Unposable

Feeling a little bit uncomfortable with such a short top with these (seriously) tight leggings, but I'll just have to deal with my complexes. I'll probably wear a scarf with this too, and of course, the missing jacket.
My new peeptoe booties are fierce, and the architectural detail are amazing! I love the chunky look against the skinny-look leggings.
So, I'm heading out again - for another night of fun with friends, but without red wine today..
I'll have a beer, please?

Have a great Saturday!

I'm wearing Forever21 asymmetric top with zipper details, Cubus faux-leather leggings, random skinny belt and Go Jane sculptular peeptoe booties.

All in

Friday night out with the girls! Oh, OK - a couple of guys too, but they might as well be chicks. So, I am going all in with the thigh-high boots, sequins and leather-look leggings. As an appetizer, we are going to play cards while drinking inexpensive red wine from over-sized glasses.
However, I am going to wear a jacket! That is for sure..
This was a cold experience, and for some reason I completely forgot about jacketing up- until I got inside again - with goosebumps all over my body, that is.
This scarf is one of the most comfortable ones I have ever owned, so long and soft, and a lot of fun to wear. Makes my head look really small when I twirl it around my neck too.
Or it makes me completely disappear when I tuck it around my head. Yes, I'm hiding.. Can you see me? No? Count to ten, then - go seek!
Wooha, you found me! OK, I will admit that I am a bit tired, and that I probably drank way to much coffee earlier today. This should be a fun night! I will see you on the other side.

I'm wearing Vero Moda sequins dress as a top, Cubus scarf and faux-leather leggings, Go Jane thigh-high boots with zipper details and Lindex bracelets with mini-studs as a head band.

A little bit of bliss

I wanted to share one of my favorite bloggesses with you, just because I think she is great! I don't know her personally, but she seems like the sweetest girl. I asked her if I could share her with you, and she said yes!

Her name is Marita, and she is the author behind maritaBliss. She is Norwegian and writes in English too, and I would characterize her blog as a personal style and photography blog. She paints, takes amazing pictures, collects vintage tea cups and has a great sense of style. She's funny and creative, and I would say that her style is this complex bohemian-inspired comfortable simplicity.

Marita dares to do things I hesitate to even try: such as playing with different color-combinations, such as yellow and brown. This is part of the reason why I enjoy her blog so much; an opposite admiration, I would say. I find a great deal of inspiration through this girl - you should check her out, she's great!

The original dress

Some of you wanted to see the dress I wore yesterday in all of its original glory, so I ran outside and snapped some pictures of it for you! It really doesn't look like the same dress at all! I noticed I forgot to mention some details in the outfit-post, but I wrapped the upper part of the dress into my belt too; which created a more suitable silhouette for me and made the whole outfit more sophisticated. I'm really happy so many people liked this one, especially since I usually prefer wearing black and a generally darker palette. Thank you very much for commenting, always <3

Oh my!

I got featured three times because of my latest look, Vintage twist, and I couldn't be happier!! Thank you so much Modepass, Weardrobe and Sense of Fashion!

Vintage twist

I rarely wear vintage, but today I decided to try this little blue thingy I found laying around. It doesn't look like this actually, I tucked the bottom-half under my belt on the inside to create a draping-effect.
And, of course - as I always do, I changed location, because I wasn't happy with the outcome of the first shots. Here, I am clearly showing of my new heels from Go Jane!
I like blue. It's a really nice color, and I should wear it more often. Makes me feel kind of purrty! (Emphasizing the u in pretty)
(Would you have guessed that I carried over half of the wood behind me from the driveway and up to the front-porch?) I did. But that was this spring, I'm now back to my regular self.
Haha, I just had to add this picture in the end - I look like some kind of superhero with a cape, or something. Not doing this pose again, that's for sure!

Up, up, and away..

I'm wearing a blue vintage dress, vintage belt (which I got from my grandmother), thigh-high stockings from Cubus and booties from Go Jane.

In a million years

I could never afford the divine Burberry Prorsum lace-up ankle-boots, and they are always sold out wherever I look - but I can come really close to having them with these amazing look-a-likes! Ok, they're missing that one-of-a-kind banana-heel and look a bit naked - but that's the price I have to pay for being poor :p
Picture from: nitrolicious.com

This is the "Poland" from the amazing designer Jeffrey Campbell, and they can be bought for $210! I'll give it some thought, and check my savings. Maybe apply for a loan. Sell my soul. Or something like that.

Paris in leather

I put Paris in leather, and it does not look too shabby - if I can say so myself. Just give me a ticket, I am ready to go.

Jacket and faux-leather shorts from Forever21, Paris tee and leggings from Cubus, hat from H&M and shoes from Ellos.
